MISSION: Singing Out Las Cruces (SOLC) is a mixed voice, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and allies/friends non-profit organization that performs choral works for the appreciation, inspiration, and education of our community. SOLC is an active member of GALA Choruses.
VISION: Using the power of music to entertain, heal, and inspire, SOLC gives voice to our community and strives for a society where all people are respected and appreciated.
INTERESTED IN JOINING?
Singing Out is a Las Cruces based, friendly and supportive community choir comprised of people that are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, +, and Allies.
Under the guidance of an Artistic Director, members learn to sing music ranging from classical or traditional, to world music, and more modern pop selections. The choir performs two concerts per year, as well as singing at special events in the surrounding area. No one is required to audition and you don't need music reading skills to join.
Dues are $50 per semester.
